‘Dangerous’ Russian hacking group exploits bugs in Microsoft Windows, Firefox browser: What users should do

A Russian-linked hacking group, RomCom, exploited two zero-day vulnerabilities in Firefox and Windows to install malware on users’ computers in Europe and North America. These “zero-click” exploits required no user interaction. Both Microsoft and Mozilla have since patched the flaws after being notified by security researchers.
