Andhra Pradesh deputy CM Pawan Kalyan advocates for single-window system in red sandalwood trade to boost revenue and regulation

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan proposed a single-window system for red sandalwood sale and export. Meeting with Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Kalyan advocated for centralized management, international e-auctions, and the Andhra Pradesh Forest Department’s custodianship to boost revenue and curb smuggling. He also met with PM Modi to discuss funding for a drinking water scheme.
