Spurious antibiotics worth Rs 1.33 crore seized from a pharmaceutical company in Telangana

Telangana drug authorities seized ₹1.33 crore worth of antibiotics from a Siddipet facility on Wednesday. The facility was illegally exporting mislabeled antibiotics, falsely claiming production by another company, to Russia. Officials discovered large quantities of various antibiotics, including Ampicillin + Sulbactam and Meropenem, intended for export with fabricated manufacturing details. Samples were collected, and legal action is underway.
