Octogenarian dies after stray dog attack in Chennai home

An 80-year-old man, Subramanian, died after being attacked by two stray dogs inside his nephew’s house in Arumbakkam, Chennai. Neighbors heard his cries and intervened, chasing the dogs away and rushing him to Kilpauk Medical College Hospital. He succumbed to his injuries the following day. Police have registered a case.
