NADA bans star wrestler Bajrang Punia for four years

Olympic bronze medalist Bajrang Punia has been banned from wrestling for four years by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) for refusing a drug test. The ban, effective from April 23, 2024, until April 22, 2028, likely ends Punia’s career. He refused to provide a sample during team trials in March. Punia can appeal the decision to NADA’s appeals panel.
