Olympic medallist Bajrang Punia suspended for 4 years by NADA for violation of anti-doping code
Wrestler Bajrang Punia was banned for four years. The National Anti-Doping Agency gave the punishment. Punia refused to give a sample at the trials. He questioned the use of expired testing kits. NADA said Punia’s refusal was deliberate. Punia claimed he faced discrimination for protesting against the former WFI president. The ban prevents Punia from competing and coaching abroad.
