Mahakumbh Mela 2025: UP Police to use AI-powered solutions for managing crowd

The 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj will utilize AI and social media for enhanced safety and management. 2,700 CCTV cameras, including 328 AI-enabled ones, will monitor crowds and assist in locating missing persons. A digital lost-and-found system will register missing individuals, aided by facial recognition and social media updates. Fifty-six police stations will ensure security.
