Uttarakhand: 20 years on, medical college yet to begin MBBS classes in US Nagar

After two decades of delays, the Pandit Ram Sumer Shukla Government Medical College in Rudrapur aims to start MBBS classes in 2025. Construction setbacks, including an abandoned contractor, have hampered progress. While OPD services are operational, crucial infrastructure remains under construction. Faculty recruitment is also underway to meet NMCI accreditation requirements.
