BJP face from Maharashtra sugar belt Raje Samarjeet Ghatge joins NCP (SP)

BJP leader Raje Samarjeet Ghatge from Kolhapur’s Kagal tehsil has switched to the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (SP) ahead of Maharashtra’s assembly elections. Pawar welcomed him and hinted at a significant role if elected. This move is viewed as a strategic gain for NCP (SP) in the sugar belt region.
