Sam Curran joined Chennai Super Kings for IPL 2025. He took an 87% pay cut. Punjab Kings did not use their Right To Match card. Curran previously played for Punjab Kings from 2019 to 2024. He made his IPL debut with them in 2019. He was one of the most expensive players in the 2023 IPL auction.
