Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) seizes 3.8kg gold worth Rs 2.71 crore at Mumbai Airport

Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) officers at Mumbai Airport seized 3.976 kg of gold, worth Rs 2.714 crore, from an airport staff member. The gold, concealed as wax-like pieces, was being smuggled by a transit passenger arriving from Dubai and departing for Male. Both individuals were arrested, and an investigation is underway to dismantle the smuggling network.
