Karnataka bypolls: BJP president BY Vijayendra & Janardhana Reddy fail to dent Congress’s Sandur fort
Despite a strong campaign by BJP and the return of mining baron G Janardhana Reddy, Congress retained its stronghold in the Sandur bypoll. Reddy’s return seemed to have unsettled local BJP cadre and voters who favored Congress’ focus on local issues and development.
