Maharashtra assembly elections result: Thane city netas retain strongholds

Incumbent MLAs in Thane celebrated resounding victories, with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde securing the highest margin. Shinde attributed his success to the ‘laadki bahin’ scheme and his government’s work. Pratap Sarnaik, Sanjay Kelkar, and NCP-SP’s Jitendra Awhad also secured significant wins in their respective constituencies. The elections saw the Mahayuti alliance dominating the region.
