The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has provisionally found that Apple’s requirement for all iOS browsers to use its WebKit engine is stifling innovation and limiting consumer choice. The CMA also raised concerns about a revenue-sharing agreement between Apple and Google, suggesting it reduces competition in the mobile browser market. The regulator is inviting comments on its provisional findings.
