SECI auction for fresh projects amid unsold power gives jitters to solar developers

India’s state-run solar agency, SECI, is auctioning 2,000 megawatts of new solar projects with battery storage. This comes as 6,500 megawatts of solar power from previously auctioned projects remain unsold due to lower tariffs in subsequent auctions.
