Second-oldest American, Herlda Senhouse, passes away at 113

Herlda Senhouse, the founder of a jazz dance group supporting Black students’ education and the second-oldest person in the US, died at 113. Senhouse, who passed away peacefully in her sleep, was known for her zest for life and dedication to learning. She attributed her longevity to remaining childless and maintaining strong social connections.
