Reliance Jio, Airtel and other telcos blacklist 50 companies over this reason

Telecom providers Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea have blacklisted over 50 companies and disconnected more than 2.75 lakh mobile numbers to address spam calls. TRAI received nearly 8 lakh complaints against unregistered telemarketers in the first half of 2024 and issued directives to halt promotional calls from these marketers.
