Andhra Pradesh high court denies relief to Ram Gopal Varma, asks him to join investigation in social media abuse case

The Andhra Pradesh High Court denied film director Ram Gopal Varma’s request to avoid appearing before the investigating officer in a case involving alleged offensive social media posts about TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu and his family. Varma’s plea to dismiss the case was also scheduled for a hearing in two weeks.
