Hyderabad man trafficked to Myanmar, tortured for refusing to engage in online scams

Shaik Ashraf, a job seeker from Hyderabad, was promised IT work in Thailand but was trafficked to Myanmar. He is being held captive and tortured for refusing to participate in internet scams. Ashraf’s family has appealed to the Ministry of External Affairs for his rescue, stating that many other Indians are trapped in similar situations.
