Karnataka govt set to buy late ex-CM Siddavanahalli Nijalingappa’s house for Rs 4 crore
The Karnataka government is set to acquire ‘Vinay Nivas,’ the former residence of ex-Chief Minister Siddavanahalli Nijalingappa, for over Rs 4 crore. The property will be purchased from Nijalingappa’s grandson, Vinay, and transformed into a memorial. The acquisition, stalled due to a legal dispute over Nijalingappa’s will, was greenlit after the law department confirmed Vinay’s ownership.
