NMC to give Nagpur’s international sports medal winners Rs 2 lakh, national Games podium finishers Rs 1 lakh
Nagpur Municipal Corporation has introduced the Udaan Sports Encouragement Scheme, aimed at benefiting local athletes excelling at national and international levels. With a Rs2 crore budget allocation, the scheme awards Rs2 lakh to international medallists and varying amounts for national level accomplishments, fostering motivation and support for sportspersons participating in Olympic and National Games events.
