X offers free access to AI chatbot Grok

X, formerly Twitter, is testing a free version of its AI chatbot, Grok, in New Zealand. Previously exclusive to Premium subscribers, Grok offers information, answers questions, and engages in conversations. The free version has usage limits and requires accounts to be at least seven days old and linked to a phone number.
