Youth arrested in Guna for smuggling rare Sandboa Snake

Police in Guna, India arrested 30-year-old Shivendra Singh at the Cantt station for illegally possessing a protected sandboa snake. Acting on a tip, officers apprehended Singh as he attempted to sell the snake, locally known as “Domua,” which is often exploited for ceremonial purposes. The sandboa has been transferred to forest department officials.
