Triple amputee from Goa who scaled Everest base camp to be feted by Prez
Triple amputee Tinkesh Kaushik from Carmona will receive the National Award for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for scaling Mount Everest’s base camp. The award will be presented by the President on December 3rd, World Disability Day. Kaushik, a fitness coach and motivational speaker, aims to inspire others and change the narrative surrounding disabilities.
