India-Australia joint military exercise ‘Austrahind’ begins in Pune, honoring historic world war ties
The third edition of ‘Austrahind,’ a joint military exercise between India and Australia, commenced at Pune’s Aundh Military Station. This two-week exercise aims to bolster the countries’ long-standing military partnership by exchanging tactics, techniques, and technology. The exercise includes combat team training, cross-training on weapon systems, counter-IED techniques, canine operations, and combat medical training.
