Dog gone: Festive cracker noise scares away scores of pets & strays
Numerous pet dogs in Kolkata have gone missing following Diwali celebrations, leaving owners distraught. The loud explosions of fireworks, exceeding safe decibel levels for dogs, are believed to have scared the animals, causing them to flee in terror.
