PCMC prepares new DPR for Pawana pipeline; costs doubled

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has updated the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Pawana closed pipeline project, increasing the cost from 398 Crore to 1,000 Crore. The project, delayed since 2011 due to farmer protests, aims to save 100 MLD of water daily and improve water quality and cost-efficiency.
