Bengaluru residents duped of Rs 95 lakh by deepfake videos of Narayana Murthy and Mukesh Ambani

Two individuals in Bengaluru, India, were recently scammed out of nearly Rs 1 crore by fraudsters using deepfake videos of business leaders N. R. Narayana Murthy and Mukesh Ambani. The victims were lured into investing in fake trading platforms promoted through these manipulated videos, highlighting the growing threat of deepfakes in financial fraud.
