Chhattisgarh HC acquits man in POCSO case over age, consent doubts

The Chhattisgarh High Court overturned a lower court’s decision and acquitted a man accused under the POCSO Act. The court cited the principle of benefit of doubt in its verdict. The man was initially convicted and sentenced to 20 years for offenses including assault and threats.
