Lucknow woman loses Rs 1.24 lakh to ‘digital arrest’
A resident of Alambagh, Lucknow, lost Rs 1.24 lakh after being deceived through a ‘Digital Arrest’ scam. Fraudsters falsely claimed affiliation with TRAI and the Mumbai Police, leading the victim to transfer funds. Authorities have launched an investigation.
