Vantara to welcome 3 African elephants from Tunisia to experience new life of care and compassion

Three African forest elephants from Tunisia’s Friguia Park are relocating to Vantara rescue center in Jamnagar, India due to financial constraints at the zoo. Aged 28 to 29, the elephants require specialized medical care for untreated skin conditions and dental issues. Vantara offers enriched enclosures and specialized care, mimicking their natural habitat for a peaceful retirement.
