Mixed Middle-East Messaging: Harris campaign targets Muslims and Jews with separate ads
Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign is tailoring its message to appeal to voters in Pennsylvania and Michigan, underscoring distinct aspects of her stance on Israel and Gaza. This approach highlights how her team is addressing an issue that has created divisions within the Democratic base. In Pennsylvania, where undecided Jewish voters could influence the state’s outcome, ads emphasise her commitment to “stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself.” In Michigan, which has a significant Arab American population, the ads instead stress how “she will not be silent about the human suffering occurring in Gaza.”
