Retired professor couple duped of Rs 3 crore with promise of ‘high stock returns’ in Meerut

A retired professor couple from Meerut was allegedly scammed of Rs 3.1 crore in a cyber fraud promising high returns from stock trading. They invested significant amounts via multiple transactions after being contacted through WhatsApp, only to discover no shares were allotted in their names.
