Telangana court sentences man to 10 years for raping minor

Kottamvari Baswaraj, 30, was sentenced to ten years of rigorous imprisonment for raping a 16-year-old girl in Ameerpur, Sangareddy district. The Special Judge for POCSO cases imposed a Rs 10,000 fine on him and awarded Rs 5 lakh compensation to the victim. The verdict followed a substantial trial based on the victim and other witness testimonies.
