Google’s Android 16 might come with this two-year old iPhone feature

Google is developing a status bar notification system similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, called ‘Rich Ongoing Notifications,’ in a recent Android beta. This feature will allow apps to display live information at the screen’s top, such as ride-sharing ETAs and music controls. Expected to launch with Android 16, it aims to enhance real-time information accessibility.
