Madhya Pradesh govt hikes DA to 50 per cent for employees ahead of Diwali

The Madhya Pradesh government has announced an increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) from 46% to 50% for its employees, effective from January 1, 2024. This decision, coinciding with Diwali and the state’s Foundation Day, was confirmed by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The previous 46% DA approval came in March 2024, effective from July 1, 2023.
