She admired Urvashi and Sridevi’s effortless comedy and expressed her desire to explore Malayalam cinema for good roles. Vidya also lauded actors Fahadh Faasil, Basil Joseph, and Anna Ben. She revealed that she was initially set to debut in Malayalam films with Mohanlal in ‘Chakram,’ but the project was shelved, leading to her eventual debut in ‘Urumi’.
