Zomato increases platform fee by over 60%, read message to customers

Zomato has temporarily raised its platform fee from Rs 6 to Rs 10 per order during the festive season to cover operational costs and maintain services. This increase follows the introduction of the fee in 2023 and is echoed by rival Swiggy, which also charges a platform fee.
