44 arrested in UP’s Ballia as demonstrators clash with police over arrest demands
In Varanasi, police arrested 44 demonstrators at the Ballia SP office while 60 others escaped. The protesters, led by Aditya Rajbhar and Ravi Rajbhar, demanded the arrest of an accused from Pakadi police station. They created disturbances, scuffled with officers, and obstructed duties. Two luxurious cars were seized, and officials are actively pursuing the absconders.
