Egg-meat ban under which rule: HC asks Madhya Pradesh govt

A division bench of the MP High Court has issued notices to the state chief secretary, Sagar collector, and Bina’s CMO to explain the legal basis for banning the sale of eggs and meat during the Ganesh festival. The petition, filed by businessman Virendra Ajmani, argues that the order violates Fundamental Rights and lacks legal justification.
