Ministry of Skill Development Partners with Meta to Launch AI Assistant, Establish 5 VR Centres for Skill India

The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship has partnered with Meta to launch an AI Assistant and establish five Centres of Excellence in virtual reality and mixed reality for the Skill India Mission. Powered by Meta’s Llama model, the AI assistant will enhance the learning experience on the Skill India Digital Portal, offering 24/7 multilingual support. The centres, located in five cities, will provide immersive training using cutting-edge VR technologies to boost skill development in India.
