This October 2, a family in Punjab looked through Bapu’s glasses

On Mahatma Gandhi’s 155th birth anniversary, a family in Sarna village, Punjab, cherished a pair of spectacles gifted by Gandhi to Taja Singh, a Gandhian involved in the Quit India Movement. The heirloom is a testament to their contributions to India’s freedom struggle, including the martyrdom of Aatma Singh, a Ghadar Party member hanged in 1915.
