Maharashtra govt announces state funeral for Baba Siddique

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde has declared a state funeral for former minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was killed outside his son’s office in Mumbai. Siddique had influential roles between 2004 and 2008, and Delhi Police will collaborate with Mumbai Police to investigate the murder, possibly involving the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
