Mysuru-Darbhanga train accident: Local villagers turn heroes, help police rescue passengers

Local villagers, including Rakesh Kumar and A Ashwin, were the first responders to the Bagmati Express derailment. They supplied food, water, and translation assistance while rescuing passengers. Police, led by SP Srinivasa Perumal, quickly coordinated a rescue effort involving 20 ambulances. The evacuation concluded by 4:30am Saturday.
