Baba Siddique earned praised during pandemic, was friends with Bollywood stars

Former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, aged 66, was shot dead in Mumbai. Known for his grand Iftar parties and close ties with Bollywood celebrities, Siddique had recently joined NCP from Congress. He was lauded for his efforts in supplying life-saving medicines during the Covid pandemic. Siddique was attacked near his son’s office and later pronounced dead at Lilavati Hospital.
