ISRO’s Vyommitra: Testing space safety and humanoid robot functions ahead of Gaganyaan mission

The Indian Space Research Organisation is preparing to launch a humanoid robot named Vyommitra to test spacecraft safety before the Gaganyaan mission. Vyommitra’s high-strength aluminium alloy build will evaluate space travel effects. Two preparatory uncrewed missions will precede the mission, gathering critical data for a safe and comfortable human spaceflight.
