Thane couple held for bludgeoning man to death, dumping body

A couple in Thane has been arrested for allegedly murdering a 24-year-old man and disposing of the body in a plastic bag in a village. The suspects, identified as Mohammad Siraj Ansari and his wife Razia, reportedly killed the victim, Siraj’s stepbrother, on October 4 due to conflicts over marriage proposals involving Razia.
