New study suggests asteroids as potential superfood for astronauts
A revolutionary study published by the International Journal of Astrobiology presented the idea of an innovative plan for feeding astronauts during long-duration space missions: carbon, coming from asteroids, may be transformed to provide edible food for the astronauts. This may be the alternative source that could feed astronauts during their long stays in space, instead of limited dried rations they can bring with a space travel mission.
