South Mumbai’s stray dogs lose their protector, Ratan Tata

Bombay House, the Tata Group’s headquarters, uniquely welcomes stray dogs due to Ratan Tata’s compassion. His empathy led to creating a dedicated kennel within the building and special care for strays. Ratan Tata’s concern for animals also extended to the Taj Hotel and the establishment of a pet hospital in Mumbai. He passed away at 86.
