Isro to build 3rd launch pad, new-gen rocket could also land on sea

Isro chairman S Somanath reveals plans for a third launch pad at Sriharikota to ensure redundancy and accommodate the New Generation Launch Vehicle (NGLV). The new pad will support updated launch protocols and testing, aiming for higher payload capacities and reusability. The National Space Commission has approved this initiative, pending final government approval.
